Ship fast with AI. Keep your code clean.
AI writes code fast, but it leaves behind duplicated code, giant functions and swallowed errors that make every change slower and riskier. Faundr flags them every session and your AI cleans them up, so your app stays easy to change.
AI code grows fast. So does the mess. And every change costs a little more.
Your app breaks and nobody knows.
AI loves swallowing errors in an empty catch. The payment fails, the order shows as paid, and a customer is the one who tells you.
Faundr checks
- Empty or log-only catch
- Errors silently turned into null
- Mock data shipped to production
- Leftover debugger statements
Every change gets more expensive.
A 200-line function or code copied in three places means your AI reads more, burns more tokens and breaks things that used to work.
Faundr checks
- Functions too long or complex
- Deep nesting
- Duplicated code blocks
- Database queries inside loops
Your project fills up with dead weight.
Packages nobody needs, code nobody calls and AI instructions pointing at files that are long gone. All of it trips up your agent.
Faundr checks
- Unused packages, or ones with a native replacement
- Unused files and exports
- Stale commented-out code
- CLAUDE.md referencing things that don’t exist

18 languages and frameworks. Each rule runs where it makes sense: type rules in TypeScript, unwrap() in Rust, image tags in Dockerfiles.
One rule per problem.Every finding explains what’s wrong, why it matters and how to fix it.
Tested against good and bad examples.Automated tests check every rule, and each language on a sample project.
Supported languages

- Svelte & Astro
- Python
- Flutter & Dart
- PHP
- Go
- Java
- Kotlin

Nothing extra to install. Your language’s own tools are used only if your project already has them. See what each part covers, language by language
Your AI writes good code. It just never looks back. Faundr looks back for you.
In any session, your AI solves what you asked for. It doesn’t remember what it wrote in earlier sessions, and it won’t notice the duplicated code or the leftover package. Faundr checks your whole project every session.
Four layers. From automated rules to AI review.
The rules run locally, with no AI and zero tokens, and never keep your agent waiting.
Every session
Checks without slowing you down.
A full scan when the session starts, then changed files after every reply, all in the background.
With your existing tools
Your TypeScript and ESLint setup.
If your project already uses them, their errors land on the same list, explained the same way.
Your way
House rules.
Your team defines what’s off-limits: a pattern, where it applies and how severe it is. Break one and it becomes a finding.
On demand
AI review.
Your AI hunts for what rules miss and estimates how many lines could go. Only findings with at least 80% confidence make the list.
Already use a code review skill? Keep it. Faundr connects to it and shows every issue it finds.
A review skill from another plugin, or one your team wrote, reports to the same list as Faundr’s own rules. Its findings get a severity, a fix and a “via /skill-name” tag, so you always know where each one came from.

- Counted like Faundr’s own. Each issue becomes Q-n in Quality, with a severity and a fix, and weighs on the launch verdict the same way.
- Closes when it’s gone. Run the skill again and whatever it no longer finds closes. Each skill only closes its own findings, never Faundr’s or another skill’s.
- One command to connect. Faundr reads the skills from your repo, your personal folder and your plugins, and marks the ones that find problems. You can change that in the dashboard.
- Your skills stay on your machine. Only each skill’s name, description and where it came from reach Faundr.
Your AI cleans up without changing behavior. It asks before making big changes.
Every finding explains what’s wrong, why it matters and how to fix it. Copy the command in one click. Your AI fixes the root cause and checks with you before deleting a file, removing a package or touching more than two files.
Quality: Error silently swallowed.

FAQ
Will it change my code on its own?
No. The check only flags issues. Your AI fixes them when you ask, without changing how the app behaves, and never strips out validation, security, accessibility or the only test covering something.
Does it use my tokens?
The automated check runs locally, with no AI. Only the AI review (/faundr:quality) and fixes use your own AI plan, and only when you ask.
Does it work with my project?
Most likely. The automated rules run in 18 languages and frameworks: JavaScript and TypeScript (React, Next.js, Vue, Angular, Svelte, Astro, React Native), Python, Go, Rust, Java, Kotlin, C#, PHP, Flutter, C, C++, Dockerfiles, HTML and CSS. Each rule runs where it applies, so the type rules, for example, are TypeScript only. There’s nothing extra to install: if your project already uses TypeScript or ESLint, their errors join the list too. The docs show what’s covered in each language.
I already use a code review skill. Can I keep it?
Yes. Run /faundr:skills once and Faundr connects it. From then on, whatever it finds shows up here as Q-n, tagged “via /its-name,” and closes when a rerun no longer finds it. Only the skill’s name, description and where it came from reach Faundr.
What if the code is that way on purpose?
Add a faundr-ignore comment with your reason, or dismiss it in the dashboard as a false positive, intentional, or “later” (it comes back in 30 days).
Does my code get sent to Faundr?
No. Faundr only receives each finding’s rule, file, line numbers and explanation, along with the names of your most complex functions.
